it's easy to snap it but it's hard to open it. I wanted something quick to open and easy to lock. I bought this for my trashcan so my dog won't open it but when i need to open it, it takes me while to unlock it.

I thought longer but that's okay. The closure of the soft ones is really complicated to open, even for adults

The glue is very strong. My baby is 9 months old, so I can't tell if a toddler would be able to open it.
